10 Best Website Redesign Agencies for AI Fintech Startups - September 2026

Website redesign agencies for AI fintech startups: ten studios compared on regulated-sector proof, trust pages, compliance review cycles and published pricing.

Founder, Studio Maydit

We design products and websites for AI companies that help them look and feel like a category leader.

Ranked by fit: Studio Maydit, Clay, BX Studio, Kvalifik, Phantom, Feely Studio, Lighthouse Digital, Fantasy, Feels Like, and SuperSkills. Clay and BX Studio lead the nine. Clay has worked from San Francisco since 2016, has fifty-one to two hundred people, publishes a starting price, has direct AI-sector proof, and lists Stripe and Coinbase among Slack, Google, and Amazon. BX Studio is a New York studio of eleven to fifty people with direct AI proof, a published price, and Verifone and ASAPP on its list, which is payments plus AI. Feels Like and SuperSkills are the weakest match. Feels Like was founded in 2023 and its published work is brand and launch rather than regulated products. SuperSkills names one client and publishes no price. Lighthouse Digital has a genuine fintech client in Freetrade but is the only studio here with no AI-sector proof at all.

An AI fintech company has the hardest website brief in software, and most redesign quotes do not reflect that.

You are asking a stranger to trust two things at once. A model they cannot inspect, and an arrangement involving their money. Either one alone is a normal trust problem. Together they are the reason your conversion rate is lower than a comparable AI company's and your sales cycle is longer.

The site has to do three jobs that a normal AI startup site never has to think about. It has to explain what the model does without implying a guarantee anyone in compliance will object to. It has to answer the money questions plainly: who is regulated, who holds funds, what happens if something goes wrong. And it has to survive a review process that adds weeks nobody budgeted.

There is also a quiet structural problem. The pages a serious buyer reads most carefully are security, compliance, and status. Those are almost always the last pages designed, by whoever is still on the project.

The studios below are ordered on how likely they are to treat those pages as the main event.

Most AI products look the same. Yours doesn't have to.

The five checks behind this ranking

Each one is public and each one is quick to verify yourself.

  1. Platform depth. Can the studio's main platform carry a real library of product, security, and legal pages that a marketer can maintain? Fintech sites accumulate documents, disclosures, and policy pages faster than almost any other kind, so this mattered most.

  2. Regulated and AI-sector proof. This is the audience-specific check. Has the studio worked on a product where money moves, or where a model produces the output, and ideally both? A studio with neither will write claims your compliance reviewer sends straight back, and then blame the review for the delay.

  3. Pricing transparency. Fintech redesigns overrun more often than other redesigns, because of review cycles. A studio that publishes a starting figure has usually been forced to be honest about how it scopes, which is worth something here beyond convenience.

  4. Team shape. Compliance review means long gaps followed by bursts of work. Small teams handle that badly because they cannot hold capacity. Large ones handle it by moving people off and bringing new ones back. Neither is ideal, so this is read as a risk to manage rather than a score.

  5. The studio's own website. Look for whether it has any pages that are not marketing, such as security or accessibility. A studio that has only ever built persuasion pages has not built the ones that will decide your deals.

Checks one and two set the order. Price and team shape resolved close calls. A studio's own site was a ceiling, never a bonus.

Everything in the tables is taken from what each studio publishes on its own pages. No estimates and no directories. Not published means the studio has not said, and it is left blank rather than guessed.

What goes wrong when an AI fintech company redesigns

Compliance review is discovered in week six. The project is scoped as design and build, the copy is written in week five, and then someone learns every claim about accuracy, returns, or protection needs sign-off. Two-day cycles become ten-day ones and launch moves a month. Name your reviewer at kickoff and send copy in small batches from week two.

The site explains the model and forgets the money. The redesign leads with what the AI does, which is the interesting part, and pushes regulatory status, fund custody, and what happens when the system is wrong into a footer link. Serious buyers look for those first and leave when they are buried. Put the money questions on the main path.

The trust pages are designed last and look it. Security, compliance, status, and the sub-processor list get built in the final week with leftover components. An evaluating team reads those line by line, and a neglected security page undoes a beautiful homepage. Design them in the first half of the project.

1. Studio Maydit: A Top-Rated Design Agency for AI Founders

Selling a model that makes decisions about money is the steepest version of the trust problem every AI company has. Studio Maydit is a web and product design studio for AI founders in the US, UK, and Europe, and closing the gap between what a product does and what a stranger believes is the work.

The studio builds in Framer, Webflow, and custom code. For a fintech site the platform question is usually about how much documentation and policy content accumulates, and the answer follows from that rather than from preference. Work carries on into product design after the site ships, which matters when the same trust decisions repeat inside the product.

Fixed scope runs three to four weeks for a team with a launch or a raise in the calendar, and it ends with a diagnosis of what is leaking in the product. Teams facing regular review cycles more often take the monthly retainer, which covers new pages, campaigns, and product design with no long lock-in and absorbs the stop-start rhythm that compliance creates.

Dualite carries the published outcome: design work behind a repositioned ICP, then 100,000+ users within seven months. Wave, PixelFlow, and Mi-VAD are recent clients, along with 15 other AI and SaaS teams.

2. Clay

Clay has worked from San Francisco since 2016, has fifty-one to two hundred people, publishes a starting price, and has direct AI-sector proof. Slack, Stripe, Google, Coinbase, and Amazon are clients. Stripe and Coinbase are the two most useful names any studio on this page could hold, because both companies had to make an unfamiliar financial mechanism feel safe to people who did not understand it. That is your brief.

The weakness is stage and cost. Premium tier with that client list means a minimum engagement most seed and Series A fintech teams will not clear, and the platform is mixed rather than a committed build practice, so confirm where the site lands before scoping.

3. BX Studio

BX Studio is a New York studio of eleven to fifty people, working in Webflow, with direct AI proof and a published starting price. Reddit, Headspace, ASAPP, and Verifone are clients. Verifone is payments infrastructure and ASAPP is an AI company, so the two halves of an AI fintech brief both appear in its record. A New York base also means the studio sits in the same city as many of the buyers and investors you are writing for.

The weakness is what is missing. No founding date is published, so the track record is hard to size, and while Webflow suits a growing library it means any deep product integration sits outside the build.

4. Kvalifik

Kvalifik is a Webflow studio in Copenhagen founded in 2015, with eleven to fifty people and direct AI-sector proof. Veo, Maersk, and Relesys are clients. Maersk is a large, heavily governed organisation, which means the studio has worked inside approval processes rather than around them, and that is closer to a fintech review cycle than most agency experience gets.

The weakness is the absence of a financial client and of a published price. No fintech name appears in its record, so regulatory language would be new, and the affordability question needs a call. European hours also lag US teams.

5. Phantom

Phantom works in custom code from London and Auckland, was founded in 2013, has fifty-one to two hundred people, and has direct AI proof. Diageo, SAP, Financial Times, and Zendesk are clients. The Financial Times is a subscription business built entirely on financial credibility, and SAP is enterprise software sold through long evaluations, so the studio understands audiences that read carefully before they buy.

The weakness is control and cost. Custom code means every disclosure update and policy change goes through engineers rather than your marketing team, which is a real burden in a sector where those change often. No price is published and the tier is premium.

6. Feely Studio

Feely Studio is a one to ten person distributed European studio with direct AI proof, a published starting price, and Noxus, Mutiny, Luasai, and Basic Capital as clients. Basic Capital is a financial product, so there is at least one name here where money and software meet, and the studio works at the size and pace of an early-stage company rather than around it.

The weakness is capacity against a review-driven timeline. A team this small is badly placed to absorb a compliance cycle that stalls for two weeks and then demands three days of changes at once. No founding date is published either.

7. Lighthouse Digital

Lighthouse Digital is a London Webflow studio that publishes a starting price, with HelloSelf, Freetrade, and IGN as clients. Freetrade is a regulated UK investing product, which is the most directly comparable client on this page, and HelloSelf operates in healthcare, another sector where claims are checked. A published price and a London base make it easy for a UK fintech team to get a quick answer.

The weakness is the AI half of the brief. It is the only studio here with no AI-sector proof at all, so explaining a model to a sceptical buyer would be new work. Neither the founding date nor the headcount is published.

8. Fantasy

Fantasy has designed from San Francisco and New York since 1999 and has direct AI-sector proof. Twenty-seven years of work means it has seen several waves of financial products move online, and that perspective helps when the real question is how much of the model to expose and how much to simply take responsibility for.

The weakness is the complete absence of a public record. No clients, no headcount, no pricing. For a fintech buyer who is about to ask a studio to write claims that a regulator might read, a studio that publishes nothing about itself is a harder sell internally than it should be. Premium tier and a mixed platform leave both cost and destination open.

9. Feels Like

Feels Like is a Los Angeles studio founded in 2023 that writes custom code and has direct AI proof, with Google, Nike, LVMH, and Suno AI as clients. Suno AI shows it can introduce an unfamiliar model-driven product to a mainstream audience, and the craft on its brand work is high.

The weakness is the shape of that work against this brief. Nike and LVMH are brand clients, not regulated products, and nothing in the record suggests experience with disclosures, security pages, or review cycles. It is the youngest studio here, and neither headcount nor pricing is published.

10. SuperSkills

SuperSkills is a one to ten person studio in Walnut Creek, California, working across platforms with direct AI proof. The Cut is its named client. It is affordable, and a team that size means the people who pitch are the people who work, which is genuinely valuable on a small site.

The weakness is evidence, and in this sector that matters more than usual. One named client, no founding date, and no published price give an evaluating team almost nothing to take to a decision. For a company whose own website exists to prove trustworthiness, hiring a studio that proves little about itself is a difficult argument to make.

How to choose between them

Work out which half of the trust problem is costing you deals, then choose on that.

Buyers do not believe the financial side. Clay, or Lighthouse Digital if your product story is more financial than AI.

Buyers do not believe the model. BX Studio, which has both payments and AI in its record.

Your approval process is the real constraint. Kvalifik, which has worked inside heavily governed organisations.

You are later stage with engineers who will own the site. Phantom, and budget for every policy change going through them.

One question for every studio on the list. Ask how they would design your security page and what they would put above the fold on it. A studio that has worked in a regulated sector answers immediately and in detail. A studio that has not asks whether you have a template.
