This policy explains what personal information Studio Maydit collects when you visit studiomaydit.com or work with us, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. We collect as little as we can.
Who we are
Studio Maydit is a design and development studio based in India. We design and build websites and products for AI and tech companies, covering product design, website design, AI MVP design, design systems, and websites built in Framer, Webflow or custom code.

What we collect on this website
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and links are useful, such as which pages are viewed and how people move between them. It sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser, device type and approximate location.
- Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use our pages through heatmaps and session recordings (clicks, scrolls and mouse movement), so we can find and fix confusing parts of the site. It masks what you type into forms and, like Google Analytics, sets cookies. We use both only to improve the site, never to identify you or for advertising.
- PostHog. We use PostHog to see which pages and buttons people use, such as booking a call, and to spot errors on the site. It sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser, device type and approximate location. We use it only to improve the site, never to identify you or for advertising.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views and to see how quickly our pages load. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other sites, and does not build a profile of you.
- Technical data. Our hosting providers process data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Booking a call. Our booking calendar is run by Cal.com. When you book, it collects your name, your email and anything you choose to add, and shares it with us so we can prepare for the call. Cal.com may set its own cookies when the calendar loads.
- Emails. If you email us, we receive whatever you include.
The question box on our FAQ page answers from our own FAQ inside your browser. What you type there is not sent to us or stored.
Cookies
Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and PostHog set cookies to tell visits apart and recognise a returning browser. Cal.com may set its own cookies when the booking calendar loads. We use no advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Blocking them doesn't stop the site from working.
What we collect when we work together
- Names, work emails and billing details of the people we work with.
- Project material you share with us, such as briefs, brand assets, product access, data and files.
- Messages, feedback and call notes. We may transcribe calls with a note-taking tool so nothing gets lost. Tell us at the start of a call if you would rather we didn't.
We only ask for what the project needs. Anything confidential is also covered by the confidentiality terms in our agreement with you.
How we use it
- To reply to you and prepare for calls.
- To deliver the work, keep you updated, and invoice you.
- To understand which pages on our site are useful and improve them.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Tools that process data for us
We run the studio and this site on established providers. Each handles data under its own privacy and security terms:
- Cloudflare, for hosting and delivering the website, and for cookie-free visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Google (Google Analytics 4), Microsoft (Clarity) and PostHog, for website analytics. They may process the usage, device and browser data described above under their own privacy policies.
- Sanity, for the website's content. It holds no visitor data.
- Cal.com, for booking calls.
- Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Figma, GitHub and Granola, for communication, project work and call notes.
- Contra and our bank, for payments. We never see or store your full card details.
Where your data is stored
These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires it, we rely on their safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become a project: up to 12 months.
- Project files and messages: up to 3 years after the project ends, unless our agreement says otherwise.
- Invoices and financial records: as long as tax law requires.
- Analytics: kept by Google, Microsoft, PostHog and Cloudflare under their standard retention settings, and used only to look at overall patterns, not to identify anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the EU and UK GDPR let you ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information, unless we have to keep it by law.
- Stop using it for a purpose you agreed to.
Email hello@studiomaydit.com and we will reply within 15 business days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Keeping it safe
We give access to project material only to the people working on it, and we rely on the security of the providers above. No system is perfectly secure, so please share passwords and keys through a password manager or a secure sharing link, not in a plain email.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
