- Music licensing

Sawdust is original underground electronic music from Armaku’s studio, licensed directly to brands for their films, content and advertising.
We designed and built the site in Framer. It had to make a dry subject, music rights, feel as considered as the music itself, and explain in one scroll why a single owner means a single license.
Master recordingThe recorded version of the track. Owned by Armaku. Licensed directly to you. No label clearance, no third-party negotiation.
Music licensing was built for a slower world. One track can involve several rights holders, and one signature quietly turns into seven before a brand can use a single note.
Brands had heard every promise from sync agencies and libraries. Sawdust’s difference is structural, since it owns every layer of every track. So the site shows that structure visually instead of a wall of text.
“We need to explain how fragmented the music industry is, without making it only about that, and show how differently we position ourselves”

Sawdust launched with a site that makes clearance look as simple as it really is for a brand: one catalog, one owner, one license, cleared end to end.
The scroll explains how licensing works. The catalog lets brands listen before they talk to anyone. The price is on the page from the start. And it comes in dark and light, because who doesn’t like a little variety?
