Moving from HubSpot to Webflow is different from every other migration on this list. You are not just switching platforms. You are separating two things that were bundled together: your website and your marketing stack. The good news is that the separation does not have to be a divorce. The pattern that is working for most B2B tech teams in 2026 is a hybrid stack: Webflow for the website, HubSpot for everything else.

HubSpot is a world-class CRM and marketing automation platform. Its CMS is a different story. The template and module system is built to be accessible to non-developers, which means it constrains what is possible in ways that dedicated design and development platforms do not.

Teams describe the same experience: they know what they want the site to look like and cannot build it in HubSpot without significant custom development work. Every design iteration requires a developer. Scroll interactions, custom grid layouts, and the kind of visual specificity that makes a B2B site feel premium require fighting against the template system rather than working with it. HubSpot handles the marketing infrastructure: the CRM, contact database, email sequences, workflows, lead scoring, and reporting. This is the data layer and the automation engine.

The two connect through HubSpot's tracking code, which you add to Webflow's custom code section. HubSpot forms can be embedded on any Webflow page. UTM tracking and attribution continue working correctly because HubSpot reads these from the URL regardless of where the page lives. Your marketing team keeps access to the same data and the same workflows. Your design team gets a site they can actually build and iterate on.

What you keep and what you give up

It is important to be honest about this. When you move your website from HubSpot CMS to Webflow, some capabilities that were native in HubSpot no longer work the same way.

HubSpot's smart content — which personalises page content based on contact properties or lifecycle stage — does not work natively on Webflow pages. If you are actively using smart content modules on your website, that is a genuine trade-off to evaluate before migrating. Most teams we work with are not using smart content in a meaningful way, but check your actual HubSpot usage before making assumptions.

HubSpot CMS-native A/B testing for page content also does not transfer. You can run A/B tests on Webflow pages using third-party tools, but it adds a layer of complexity. Again, audit whether you are actively using this before deciding it matters to you.

What you keep: all of HubSpot's CRM data, contact records, deal pipelines, email sequences, workflow automation, lead scoring, and reporting. HubSpot's tracking script continues attributing traffic and contact activity correctly from a Webflow site. Most teams that make this move report that the operational impact is much smaller than they expected, because the features they worried about losing were features they were not actually using in a meaningful way.

Migrating HubSpot blog content to Webflow

If your HubSpot blog is a meaningful organic traffic source, the blog migration deserves careful treatment. This is not a step to rush.

Export your HubSpot blog posts and document every URL currently indexed in Google Search Console. Cross-reference with your Search Console data to identify which posts have impressions, clicks, or backlinks. These are the posts you protect above everything else.

Set up your Webflow CMS blog collection with the right schema before importing any content. You need fields for title, slug, publish date, author, body content, featured image, meta title, meta description, and any categories or tags you use. Webflow accepts CSV imports for CMS collection items. Format your HubSpot export to match the Webflow field structure and import in batches, verifying a sample after each batch.

HubSpot blog post URLs typically follow the format /blog/post-slug. If your new Webflow blog matches this structure, many redirects become unnecessary. Where URLs do change, set up 301 redirects in Webflow before launch. Every blog post URL that goes from indexed to 404 without a redirect is a small SEO loss that compounds across a large blog archive.

Setting up HubSpot integrations on your new Webflow site

Before launch, verify that every HubSpot touchpoint continues working as expected on your Webflow site.

Add HubSpot's tracking code to Webflow's custom code section in Site Settings. This handles contact identification, session tracking, and attribution for all pages. Test it with a real contact interaction after adding it.

For embedded HubSpot forms, test each form submission end-to-end: fill out the form, confirm the contact appears in HubSpot with the correct data, confirm the workflow triggers correctly, and confirm attribution is recorded. Do this before launch, not after.

If you are using HubSpot's chat widget, add it via the same tracking code embed. Most HubSpot chat configurations port directly to a Webflow site without any changes.

SEO handling for HubSpot to Webflow migrations

HubSpot CMS generates canonical tags, meta robots settings, and sitemaps automatically. When you move to Webflow, you need to manually set all of these up for your new site.

Check that every page in Webflow has a meta title and meta description set. Check that no pages are accidentally set to noindex. Verify that Webflow is generating your sitemap correctly at /sitemap.xml and submit it to Google Search Console after launch.
