10 Best Framer Design Agencies for European AI Startups - August 2026
A European AI startup usually sells to American buyers from a European base. We checked 10 Framer agencies on five public criteria to see which ones design for that split.
The best Framer design agencies for European AI startups in 2026 are Studio Maydit, Trueform, Push Refresh, Pixelmatters, Fantasy, SuperSkills, Flow Ninja, Refokus, Feely Studio, and Digidop. Studio Maydit and Trueform lead for European teams whose buyers sit in the US. Fantasy and Flow Ninja are the wrong fit unless your problem is brand scale or pure build speed rather than positioning across two markets.
Your company is in Berlin or Paris or Stockholm. Your biggest customers are in California, and so is the fund you are trying to raise from.
That split is the whole design problem, and almost nobody treats it as one. A European AI startup usually builds a website that is accurate about where it is and unhelpful about where it sells. The address in the footer, the case studies from local companies, the pricing in euros, the careers page in two languages. Each choice is reasonable on its own. Together they tell an American buyer that this is a regional supplier, and that buyer has a strong prior about regional suppliers being harder to work with.
The reverse mistake is worse. Some teams scrub every trace of being European, adopt a generic Bay Area voice, and end up sounding like a company with no particular home. That reads as thin, and it throws away the advantages you actually have.
Because you do have them, and they are getting more valuable. Data staying in the EU is a genuine selling point to a growing set of buyers. Regulation that your competitors are treating as a burden is something you have already lived with. Being close to customers who need that is not a limitation.
The question is whether your site is built by someone who understands both readers. That is what separates these ten.
How we picked these agencies
This is a teardown, not a directory listing. For each agency we read their own site and their public record, then checked five things you can verify yourself in an afternoon:
Platform depth. Is Framer their main craft, or one line on a long service menu?
AI-sector proof. Named AI clients and published work, or just the word "AI" in the copy?
Pricing. Do they publish a minimum at all, or keep it behind a call?
Team shape. Who actually does the work, and how many clients are they carrying at once?
Their own site. Distinctive, or the same template as everyone else on this list?
That last one gets skipped most often. An agency's own website is the only project where nobody overruled them. No client committee, no inherited brand book. If their own site is forgettable, you have found their ceiling.
Every fact below comes from the agency's own site or a public listing. Where a number is not public, we say so rather than guessing.
What goes wrong when the company and the buyer are on different continents
Three failures repeat on European AI startup sites, and each one comes from answering the location question badly.
Small signals mark you as regional. No single element causes this. It is the accumulation. A phone number in an unfamiliar format, a date written the European way, prices only in euros, three case studies from companies an American reader has never heard of, and a cookie notice that behaves differently from the ones they are used to. A buyer in Chicago is not offended by any of this. They just quietly file you as a local option and move to the next tab. The fix is not to hide where you are. It is to make the American reader's path obvious: their currency shown, a reference they recognise near the top, and a clear answer to how support works in their hours.
Multi-market copy hedges itself into saying nothing. A team selling into Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the US tries to write one page that works everywhere, and the only language that survives that filter is language with no specifics in it. Solutions for modern enterprises. Built for teams of every size. The page becomes technically true and completely inert. Writing for one market well and letting the others read it as slightly foreign is far more effective than writing for all of them and reaching none. Pick the market that funds the company and write for that reader, then localise where the money justifies it rather than everywhere at once.
Regulation gets treated as a cost instead of a claim. European AI companies have absorbed rules their American competitors are only starting to think about, and most of them mention this in a compliance page nobody reads. That is a serious waste. A growing group of buyers, particularly in health, finance, and the public sector, are actively looking for a system whose data handling and model governance are already settled. Saying where data is processed, what you log, and how your model decisions can be reviewed is not legal housekeeping on this site. It is the strongest differentiator on the page, and it belongs in the main flow.
1. Studio Maydit: A Top-Rated Design Agency for AI Founders
Studio Maydit is a web and product design studio working with AI founders in the US, UK, and Europe. The studio builds websites in Framer, Webflow, and custom code, and continues into product design after the site ships.
The clearest outcome is Dualite, where design work supporting a repositioned ICP helped the product reach 100,000+ users in seven months. Recent clients include Wave, PixelFlow, Mi-VAD, and 15 other AI and SaaS teams.
Websites can be bought two ways. Fixed scope runs three to four weeks and suits teams with a launch date. Teams that keep shipping take a monthly retainer instead, covering new pages, campaigns, and product design, with no long lock-in. Fixed-scope projects end with a diagnosis of what is leaking in the product, not a handoff and goodbye.

2. Trueform
Trueform is a Swiss studio working in Framer with published AI client work, a published minimum, and Miro, Morning Brew, and Gather named. Miro is the most useful reference on this list for your situation, a European-founded product that had to become credible to American buyers without pretending to be American. Framer as the house craft also means your team can rewrite a claim the week a rule changes.
They are a small studio, their work sits closer to brand than to dense product surfaces, and Swiss rates are among the highest in Europe.

3. Push Refresh
Push Refresh is a Dallas team of 1 to 10 working in Framer with a published minimum and SmithRx and Synonym named. The argument for hiring them is the inverse of the obvious one. If your buyer is American, a small American studio will hear the places your copy sounds foreign before any European reviewer does, and that ear is hard to acquire from outside.
Their AI-sector proof is partial, they publish no founding year, and a team of that size in a US timezone gives a European company very little daily overlap.

4. Pixelmatters
Pixelmatters is a Porto team of 51 to 200 working since 2013, with a published minimum and Rubrik, Quantic, and UJET named. They are the largest European studio here with a genuine record of shipping for US software companies, and they design and build with one accountable team, which matters when a legal review changes a sentence late.
Their AI-sector proof is partial, Framer is one platform among several rather than the specialism, and at that size an early-stage team will not get their strongest people.

5. Fantasy
Fantasy has been working since 1999 out of San Francisco and New York with published AI client work and a practice built around product rather than page. For a European company trying to look like a global contender rather than a national champion, a studio with that history carries weight that a small European team cannot lend you.
They publish neither pricing nor team size nor client names, Framer is not their centre, and their engagement scale sits far above most European Series A companies.

6. SuperSkills
SuperSkills is a small Walnut Creek team of 1 to 10 with published AI client work. For a European team the value is narrow and real: an American studio small enough that you speak to the people doing the work, at a size where the wording of your positioning gets argued about rather than delegated.
They publish no pricing, their named client record is thin at one company, Framer is not their stated specialism, and the timezone gap is the largest on this list.

7. Flow Ninja
Flow Ninja is a Belgrade team of 11 to 50 working since 2018. For a European AI startup the appeal is straightforward: European hours, a real team rather than a solo operator, and rates well below Western European studios, which matters when the raise has not closed.
They publish no client names and no pricing, their AI-sector proof is partial, and Webflow is the house craft rather than Framer, so you are buying process instead of platform depth.

Best fit | European teams who need European hours at a lower rate |
8. Refokus
Refokus is a remote German team of 11 to 50 founded in 2021, with Mural, Spotify, BASF, and BCG named. That roster is unusual because it spans a European industrial giant and an American software company, which is precisely the range your site has to cover. A studio that has written for both readers has already solved your hardest problem once.
Their AI-sector proof is partial, they publish no pricing, and Webflow rather than Framer is their platform, so ongoing edits sit in a different tool than your team may expect.

Best fit | Teams selling to European industry and American software at once |
9. Feely Studio
Feely Studio is a distributed European team of 1 to 10 with published AI client work and a published minimum. They are European and AI-native at the same time, which is a rarer combination than it sounds, and at that size the person who understands your regulatory story is the same person writing the page about it.
They are very small, so a multi-market brief with several languages will stretch them, and their published work leans toward marketing sites rather than heavier product surfaces.

10. Digidop
Digidop is a Paris team of 1 to 10 founded in 2021 with a published minimum and TSE Energy, Ramify, and StreamNative named. StreamNative is the relevant one, an infrastructure company selling to developers, and Digidop's record of working across French and English sites is directly useful if France is a real market for you rather than an afterthought.
Their AI-sector proof is partial, they are very small, and Webflow rather than Framer is the platform, which matters if your team has already committed to Framer.

How to choose between them
Sort by which market is costing you money.
US buyers are treating you as a regional option. Studio Maydit or Trueform.
Your copy sounds slightly off to an American ear. Push Refresh or SuperSkills.
You sell to European industry and American software. Refokus or Pixelmatters.
Your data and governance story is your best asset and it is buried. Feely Studio.
One test before signing. Ask them what they would put in the footer. An agency that has thought about this brief will have a view on whether your address helps or hurts, where data residency belongs on the page, and what an American buyer needs to see about support hours. An agency that treats the footer as leftover space has not understood that for a European company selling abroad, the small signals are the positioning.
